My Statement of Purpose, as submitted to graduate school.
A participatory text, comprised of texts written by artists whom I invited to participate in the writing of my statement of purpose for graduate school. I asked them for excerpts from their own artistic statements, or to compose something specifically written for mine. The text also includes my own sentences, though the authors are undifferentiated in the text itself. I did no editing to the content of the submitted texts; they were combined with discretion only for a semblance of narrative cohesion.
